We believe that as committed followers of Christ we should be concerned with loving God and loving others. Our ministries at Redeemer are designed to help us better love each other with the love that we have received from Christ. “Jesus came to serve not to be served.” Our ministries are wonderful outlets to follow the example of Christ in service. There are many areas of service and we’re committed to helping you find those that are most suitable for you. Previous experience can be helpful but it is often not necessary. All that is needed is a willingness to serve. From the more practical areas to leading small groups there should be something to fit everyone’s gifts and time commitments. Missions Ministry

We, as Christians, have been given the command to share the wonderful story of God’s reconciliation with the world through Jesus Christ. We believe that taking the good news to the whole world means that every follower of Christ ought to be prepared to share the message of Jesus anytime and anywhere. God’s call on the life of some has led them to foreign countries. God has called others to certain people groups within the United States. We are committed to identifying and developing individuals in the local church who are willing to share Christ at home or abroad.

Mercy Ministry

As Christians, we show mercy to others because of the radical mercy God showed us through Christ. When we begin to realize we need God’s grace constantly and desperately, not only once for salvation, we will begin to see ourselves mirrored in the physically and emotionally needy. Acts of love and mercy will flow naturally out of and testify to a heart changed by Christ’s love.

Our Mercy Ministry Team exercises our faith in Santa Rosa and the surrounding community through deeds of mercy to those in need. We have connected with established organizations, ministering to disadvantaged communities all over the city. The Mercy Ministry Team facilitates opportunities to get involved with these organizations at all levels of commitment-from occasional events to more regular or long-term activities that will allow you to develop relationships and more deeply impact a community. English as a Second Language (ESL)

God loves it when people from different countries, races, religions and backgrounds come together to learn about who he is and what his plan is for us. In order to serve our growing Hispanic community and build relationships, English as a Second Language (ESL) groups are designed to help people acquire the English language, as well as get a taste of Christian community and develop relationships.

“When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land…I am the Lord your God.” (Lev. 19:33-34)
