Missions Lunch
Don’t forget to join us for lunch immediately after the worship service on Sunday. The Fishers and Becky Soler will be sharing about their trip this summer to the Yakama Indian Reservation. The Dethlefsens will also be sharing about their adventure and the new ministry that has begun on the Warm Springs Reservation in Oregon. If you plan on coming, please bring a salad that serves 8-10 people. The rest will be provided for you.
Joining the Church Family
Pastor Brooker will be leading a Membership Profile Class where he will share the vision and mission of Redeemer, our distinctive beliefs and doctrines, and how you may be a part of the ministry. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. Contact Pastor Brooker if you are interested in being a part of this.
Short Story Night
Our next short story night will be on Sunday, November 15 at 6:30pm. Our theme is “Stone Soup” as we think of Thanksgiving and sharing food at this time of year. If you plan on joining us, please bring something to add to our own pot of Stone Soup. As we share our soup, we will also share stories together. We will be meeting at the Shaver’s home. Christmas is Coming
Before you know it the Christmas season will be here, and we want to make sure you mark a couple of dates on your calendar. On Sunday evening, December 6, there will be an all church dinner where the children will be presenting a Christmas program. Then on Sunday afternoon December 13, will be our annual Christmas caroling outing. More information about both of these events will be coming soon.
Two Special Invitations From DAAC
On November 16 at 11:30am, you are invited to a lunch and tour of the Perinatal Program. You are also invited to attend DAAC’s 4th Annual Community Breakfast on Wednesday, November 18 at 7:30am. You will have an opportunity to hear Michael Spielman, executive director for DAAC, talk about their for the future of, “treatment for anyone who needs or wants it.” Please contact the office if you are interested in going to either of these events.
